TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Former New York Yankee celebrity Derek Jeter has offered his waterfront mansion in Tampa for $22.5 million — which means Tom Brady could be headed to new rental digs.
The seven-bedroom, eight-bath property was offered on Friday, stated Smith & Associates, the true property agency that dealt with the transaction. The agency didn’t disclose the client and the sale had not but been recorded Monday by Hillsborough County, a course of that may take a number of days. The house had been listed at $29 million.
The baseball corridor of famer lived within the dwelling part-time till his retirement after the 2014 season. He and his household moved throughout Florida after he turned a part-owner and CEO of the Miami Marlins in 2017.
Brady has been renting the mansion since April 2020, shortly after the star quarterback signed with the Tampa Buccaneers after leaving the New England Patriots. He and his spouse, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, not too long ago bought land on an unique island off Miami to construct a house there. Brady led the Bucs to a Tremendous Bowl title in February.
Jeter purchased the property in 2005 for $6.3 million, razed the properties that had been there and constructed the 22,000-square-foot (2,050 sq. meter) substitute, which has a wine cellar, movie show and air-conditioned six-car storage.
Smith & Associates Realtor Stephen Homosexual instructed the Tampa Bay Instances that Brady and Bündchen had been accommodating and didn’t flip down any requests to get the property “show-ready” for a potential purchaser.
