Russell is survived by his loving and devoted spouse of 34 years, Rosabelle Whitehurst Twiford, daughters Terry Sue Cartwright, (Bootie), Darlene J. Cross, (David), son Daniel D. Jennings, (Beth) all of Elizabeth Metropolis, 4 grandchildren, Danielle C. Clarke, (Brian) of Cary, Will D. Jennings, (Kelley), and Betty Rose Washburn, (Mark) of Elizabeth Metropolis and Deanna T. Cross of Durham. He additionally leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Tater and Karley Jo Jennings and John
Clarke.
